Communications Administrator

Status: Hourly, 32 hours per week (M – TH)

Summary: Oversee and facilitate communication with the DC3 community and provide administrative support for the church and Pastoral Staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and production of printed and digital church communication (email, text, and social media). 

• Provide administrative support for the Office Manager and Pastoral Staff. 

• Assist with the administration, communication, and coordination of baptisms. 

• Manage forms, process queues, text platform and the first-time guest process.

• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks and answer phones as needed.

• Provide back-up to the receptionist as needed, as well as during vacation. 

Qualifications

Required:

• A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to shared goals.

• Strong written communication and project management skills.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence. 

• Strong working knowledge of design tools (particularly Canva) and social media best practices. 

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities simultaneously. 

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with church management software or client databases.
